How much money will it cost to open a Pablo's Pizza Franchise?

A Pablo's Pizza franchise is currently available only in Colorado. Being a relatively small company, we want the franchise to grow at a controlled pace. We want to provide as much support as we can to our franchisees.

Fees for a Pablo's Pizza franchise are a one time payment of $25,000 for the initial franchise fee. Royalty fees are 3% of gross sales. The UFOC has a more detailed account of other fees.

We realize that our fees are somewhat lower than many franchises out there. This is for two primary reasons. We don't have a huge management structure that needs to be supported. And we want to give people a chance to be able to live out their dream of owning their own business by not making it cost prohibitive for them.

Start up costs will vary tremendously, depending on location. We have estimated that starting your own Pablo's Pizza, excluding lease hold improvements, would cost between $100,000-$110,000. That figure includes franchise fees, equipment, opening inventory, and training. It does not include any money for lease hold improvements. Depending on the space leased or purchased, lease hold improvements can add significant expense to opening a business.

We require at least 30% of the start up cash to be in liquid assets, and you will need an additional 3-6 months of living expenses. The start up phase can be challenging, and you want to make sure that you are not putting yourself in a desperate position if sales start out slowly. Pablo's Pizza Franchising LLC will not provide any type of financing. Loans, if necessary, will have to be pursued from banks and require a business plan and collateral. Your banker can assist you with the best loan option.
